View Message

Click on the message's Subject link to view the message. This displays the View Message page.

The View Message page shows all of the content contained within a message and the features that are available for you to use. Despite having similar appearances, there are actually two different View Message pages within the web portal. The first is for Inbox message types, and the second is for Track Sent message types.

Inbox - View Message

For the Inbox version of the View Message page, you will see the various details of a standard message, as well as an expiration date, a tracking number, and the ability to see the security envelope via the Message Integrity link. A number of other links are present on this page which allows you to either Reply To Sender, Reply To All (which is useful if the message had multiple recipients), or Forward the message to someone else. If desired you can also use the Download Message link to save the message and any attachments to your computer.

Track Sent - View Message

The Track Sent version of the View Message page is similar in appearance but has a number of different features. These features include the ability to view additional tracking details such as the date and time the message and any attachments were opened, via the Expand All Tracking Details link. The Edit As New Message link places a copy of the message into the Compose new message window where it can be modified. The Advanced Options link takes you to the Edit Message Properties page, where you can edit the message properties, such as expiration, password protection, send a message waiting notification to recipients, and retract the message from recipients.

Edit Message Properties

This page allows you to edit a set of properties for the message. You can select an expiration date for the message. A password and hint can be applied to the message in the appropriate fields. Another message notification can be sent by clicking the check box next to "Send another message..." You can also retract the message using the checkbox next to "Retract message from recipients..." and the message will be removed from their Inbox.
